Day.9

Felt like wearing a bruise today so I took out my mom's old sheer top and my blue skirt..bruise...black and blue...got it? yes? good!

This is one of the fabulous finds I got from my mom's closet..She said she got this in Japan during the 80's. It's comforting to know that I wasn't the only one in the family who has a fashion intoxication! ;)

It was a great day today. It rained a little bit in the morning but was pretty cool throughout the day. It was actually a nice day to go out and play...too bad I have to go to work! Whenever I see this play area for the kiddos, I can't help but remember the days when I was a kid and just laugh my socks off. I was a very playful child, mind you! I was the king of the monkey bars! going upside down, racing with other kids and climbing trees! Happy thoughts!

Day.8

The sun is out again! And I'm back to work... :( Haha! Why is it so hard to come back to work after a vacay? You should be ecstatic to come back given that you have been released from the stress, right?? I've been away for a week and now it feels like I can't even begin to function! Hahaha!

Here's to a great and hopefully productive week for all of us! ;)

Can I just share a new discovery?? It's Lightscoop! I read it from Flip Flops and Polka Dots. I'm dying to try it for myself!!!

Day.7

Dots and spots! Wasn't sure if it was an unconscious effort to match my outfit with the rainy season...spots/dots kinda looks like raindrops, don't it?? Well, I think so...please agree ;)

I remember I've told you about how weird I am whenever the weather is cool, right? I crave for gelatto/yogurt/milk shake/ice cream! Anything cold!!! Oh, and let's not forget a bottle of chilled chardonnay or below zero wouldn't hurt, either! Haha!

Got these babies in the airport in the effort of exhausting a few of my dollars left...pretty cool for an airport find don't you think?

Wine. Gossip. Downpour

My girlies got together to have drinks with our Singapore-based girlie who came home for the weekend. It was a fun fun night, as usual. Just gossiping till our ears bled and our throats went dry. It's always good to know you always have your friends there for you through the good and bad, maybe even the ugly. We've been friends for almost 3 decades and I'm just proud of how we've gotten so cmuch closer through the years...Here's to more drunken nights and fabulous friendship ahead of us! Love you to bits!!!

R.E.S.P.E.C.T

Had dinner wih A the other night at Basilio's. We were supposed to have dinner/drinks over at Bugsy's but we had a situation over at the parking area...We got into an argument with another group who deliberately stole our parking. What's pathetic was the fact that he didn't even had the guts to own up to it. His lame excuse was he didn't see us even though our park lights were flashing right in front of him. So I have the tendency to get all worked up...I just hate it when people tend to be inconsiderate. All I'm asking for is a little respect and I feel this will be a better place to be in.

Enough about the ranting and on to the good stuff...We ordered our favorite things that night, nothing new, just good ol' comfort food!

Despite these incidents, I still love my new home in BGC. It's city living at its finest. It's busy, yet cozy. It's surrounded by Buildings amidst the beautiful green landscape. My favorite part of day is when I come home and hang out by the poolside.

Day.6

Summer is here...again? Been having unpredictable weather these days, one day it would rain, the next it would be scorching hot! Either way, I love how near I live from work...Gone are the days when I need to walk under the smoltering heat or brave the mean downpour...

Had a really long lunch with the girlies at the newly opened Toast Box in BGC. Their Hainanese isn't as great as that in Wee Nam Kee...and their Kaya Toast isn't something I'd crave for as well.

Day.5

Taken from last week...pretty obvious as the weather was still bright and sunny. We are now entering the wet part of the year. I love how cool it is! Bring out the coats and the scarves, baby!!! I hope I can get away with 1 trenchie in my 30x30 challenge...It's certainly going to have one fine ride with me in the next few weeks!

However gloomy the weather is, I have to say the rain always brings out the best in me. No more Cranky Candy! Haha! let me bid goodbye to the sun and stay cuddled in bed :D Hope the weather's giving you good mood these days too!
