Tried a new restaurant in the area. It looked pretty expensive at first but when we saw the menu, we found the range pretty reasonable. Definitely coming back to try the other dishes.

Dinner at the top

Had our annual gang christmas dinner last night at Skye Lounge. It was good to catch up and drink wine with the people closest to you. A lot of planning, celebrating and trips for the coming year. Cheers to what lies ahead for everyone!

One of my most favorite time of the year...one reason would be the bountiful parties where you get to catch up with long time friends, meet new ones, and reunite with family and relatives in a joyous occassion. Another reason would be the festive decorations and the lights everywhere which makes your heart all warm and fuzzy! The best reason for me would be SHOPPING for gifts and looking for the best ones to give. So here are what I've gotten friends and family...and myself (so far..haha!)

After a day of shopping and walking around, this is a great idea to relax and unwind... having your nails done while catching up on the latest magazines and having a glass of chardonnay :) Their service and ambience is by far the best in BGC! A must try and it won't burn your wallets!

Yes, I finally had my hair cut and did some color and highlights along the way...It's that time of the year when all I thought about was how to look different...been researching on different salons but decided not to try new salons just yet...my heart belongs to Franck Provost! Thanks to my stylist for making A's heart skip a beat when he first saw "the cut" :)

I love the interiors of the salon and the service the staff provide. I always stay at one of the seats on their second floor and feel secluded while I catch up on my favorite magazines. My favorite indulgence is to not care about the hours passsing by while reading InStyle! Nothing like a day off from work and pampering myself! Did I mention the service?? Everyone is so professional and friendly. They make you feel like you can really trust them to leave you satisfied. This is the only time I let my guard down and tell them "I leave it all up to you. Make me look good!" 

And so, drum roll please......ta-dah!

The cut cost me P570, color is at P1790 while highlights priced at P3300. Not bad for a new look! It was 3 1/2 hours of fun and relaxation for me! Did I mention I was here for color and highlights 6 months back? And with the darker base she gave me, it might take me a good while to come back for another change! Totally worth my money! Be sure to ask for Precy when you decide to try FP!

Might be worth mentioning that Jing Monis Salon has opened its doors in their new branch in Alabang. The salon is at the 3rd level (by the infinity pool) of Belleview Hotel. I was choosing between JMS and FP. I will definitely try their services next time, maybe for a treatment or a haircut ;)

My girlies got together to have drinks with our Singapore-based girlie who came home for the weekend. It was a fun fun night, as usual. Just gossiping till our ears bled and our throats went dry. It's always good to know you always have your friends there for you through the good and bad, maybe even the ugly. We've been friends for almost 3 decades and I'm just proud of how we've gotten so cmuch closer through the years...Here's to more drunken nights and fabulous friendship ahead of us! Love you to bits!!!
