Further reductions

Today, I helped out A's younger sister find the perfect prom dress and shoes to match. We scoured through 4 stores and just when we thought we were running out, we saw this fabulous dress that's just right for her. Too bad I wasn't able to take a photo of the dress when she was wearing it...I was amazed we actually had the same size, Excited to have someone to share my clothes with in the future...I'm already planning to borrow her dress to a wedding I'm attending next month haha!

While we were searching for shoes, I came upon this store which sells mile high pumps which I'm currently obssessing on...

Of course, I couldn't let the day end without grabbing some for myself too and since all my favorite brands are on further reductions, might as well take advantage! Got a nice sweater and tights for my upcoming Taipei trip and a skirt and dress for the office/weekend. Love love the sale season!!! Who doesn't, right??

It was a day filled with shopping and getting crazy during the end-of-season sale! Topshop, Gap, Zara, Mango, M&S, Kate Spade were just a few of the names who had red tags on their items...we were in heaven!

I'm going to have to say I was so proud of my BF as he spent more than me that day! He finally decided to have a makeover and got items to replace his old boring ones! He got pants, shoes, belt, tops, the works! I'm a happy lil gal! I think I might have found my best shopping buddy in him!

Found a pair of burgundy jeans in Topshop...still debating whether or not I should get it...my heart still belongs to the cigarette pair I saw in Promod... *sigh*

Remember when my sister and I had spent a full day in IKEA in Singapore here? We just went gaga and had to pay for excess baggage going home.

This time around, I was in a more zen space, I actually bought just one item, maybe because the IKEA store here in Manila is puny compared to its sister stores in HK, Shanghai, and SG. It's just always so nice to get inspirations from this store..I can practically live in the store! :D

a look back

2011 was the year I started this blog out of inspiration from all the bloggers I have come to meet online. these girls are full of confidence and great ideas that inspire many like me to be themselves and to create something that's out of the box but still feels your own.

I have embraced countless opportunities both in my personal life and my career. I've learned the art of online selling and got pretty hooked in online shopping as well (who isn't?).

This year was full of discoveries about myself that I've never tapped into before. I've travelled to different countries, dealt with the challenge of visiting a non-English speaking country, learned to be more independent when I got my own place, dealt with life with a little more reality. 2011 proved to be my most challenging year, but it was FUN, FUN, FUN, as always!

Here's to more challenges, greater adventures, and new beginnings! Cheers to 2012!

A foxy pick

Been obssessed in looking for the perfect burgundy slim pants lately so I decided to go to Zara to try some on. Saw other pairs which caught my fancy and decided to try em on with my foxy top and these gorgeous Zara pumps...

Well, decided to get the jeans instead as I wasn't very happy with the fit in my hips of the burgundy one...found one in Promod but the size doesn't seem to conform to my body, found it too tight on the waist but the hips an legs were perect. Maybe it was telling me to start hitting the gym again! Haha! I guess the quest continues...

Loving the burgundy on my toes as well...
