New year, new beginnings

HAPPY 2012, lovelies!!!

I don't know what happened but I suddenly had a new-found excitement over life when 2012 started. I loved my work more, I found myself hitting the gym more often, and found myself embracing my own style more but still continue to get inspired by my fave bloggers ;)

I feel that this year will bring me better luck, new challenges, more adventures, fun trips, a healthier lifestyle, more shopping (haha!) and over-all great happiness...I'm wishing the same for you guys too!

Here's to a better US this 2012..let's all make it worthwhile!

One of my most favorite time of the year...one reason would be the bountiful parties where you get to catch up with long time friends, meet new ones, and reunite with family and relatives in a joyous occassion. Another reason would be the festive decorations and the lights everywhere which makes your heart all warm and fuzzy! The best reason for me would be SHOPPING for gifts and looking for the best ones to give. So here are what I've gotten friends and family...and myself (so far..haha!)

After a day of shopping and walking around, this is a great idea to relax and unwind... having your nails done while catching up on the latest magazines and having a glass of chardonnay :) Their service and ambience is by far the best in BGC! A must try and it won't burn your wallets!

Itching for FOREVER!

I've been craving to go shopping for days! Yesterday I went to my favorite thrift shop but didn't find anything that fancied me so today, I start my quest for the perfect summer outfits...I dunno if it's my new-found color that made me want to shop or is it really just in my nature to crave to shop?? Whatever it is, I. Must. Shop.

Heading over to the newly opened Forever 21 in SM Makati after work today and may also check out the make up counters in the area ;)

These shoes are made for walking and dancing!!!

Will also scout for these babies in the department store of SM and Landmark...

If the shoe fits

Been hoarding a number of pretty soles lately. A is starting to notice the growing pile of new shoes, for that, I just say, "they're old ones, forgot i even had 'em!" I don't understand why I have to lie about shopping. I just can't bring myself to tell him how much time and money I spend on new clothes, shoes, make up, and other "unnecessary" items...guilty as charged! Lately, I justify my purchases by going to vintage shops and thrift stores and going shopping only on SALE season..also started selling some of my old stuff on ebay. Atleast I get to really fund my shopping an get rid of the old ones ;)

I've got 4 shoes still in boxes waiting to be let out into the streets, but I still can't stop thinking about a few more pairs I recently saw on ebay today!
