Morning rituals

It's been a while since my last post. Sorry for the sudden hiatus, A and I just got back this morning from China! It was our longest trip together, 10 days, and yes, there was so much drama, it was intense! We had a blast! It was a great way to relax and get away from everything...I'll tell you more about it in future posts. I missed blogging and I missed you guys! I sure hope you missed me too! Even for just a little bit ;) 

This is a peak at how I spend my lazy weekend mornings. This is in fact a not-so-lazy weekend morning coz the really lazy ones comprise of me being in bed the whole day in my PJs and the remote at an arm's reach.

ME time

Last weekend, I decided to have some me time in Tagaytay to get away from all the worries and stress that work has brought me at the start of the month. It was very relaxing and I felt so recharged.

Here's to hoping everyone had a relaxing weekend too!

Swingin' in Singapore

It was my sister's and my first time to travel out of the country together. What better way to do it than in Singapore during the great SG sale! It was both our first time there, usually we'd take lots of photos but since the trip consisted of shopping, it was pretty hard to do photos with all the bags in tow... ;)

 We spent our first 2 days going around the malls and checking out the great SALE! We walked until we can't walk no more!!! It was very hot and humid...I hated the weather..I still love HK better than Singapore...

The first day comprised of mall hopping in Orchard Road, the second day was dedicated to IKEA! We were in heaven and didn't want to leave! Haha! We had to purchase extra kilos for our luggages!!!

On our last day there, we decided to be tourists and go around their famous tourist spots.

Summer Remix Recap

And so here are all 30 looks...Whew! That was one rollercoaster ride! I must say, this really entertained me and kept my mind away from the stress at work. It somehow gave me a reason to get up and not be lazy to get out of the house..I know work should be my motivation, but lately I'm not too inspired by it! haha! 

There were outfits that I had played in my mind even before wearing them and there are a lot here that totally surprised me...I have to admit towards the latter part, you tend to get more creative since you are running out of clothes to match...but I think that's the fun of it. The more I ran out of the usual pairs to match, the more creative and more colorful my outfits turn out! Yay! Till the next remix!

Finally! I'm done with my summer remix! Yay! Well, technically I was done weeks ago, just couldn't find the time to post everything as I was just too busy with work! 

I am giving myself lots of pats on the back! Participating in this challenge proved to be the most challenging thing I had done in terms of managing my shopping habits, my constant fashion bingeing, and my constant battle to get ready in the morning...believe me, it's always a struggle..and I always find myself saying, "I have nothing to wear!"

Thanks Kendi for inspiring others like me to be smarter and to know their closets better! I definitely learned a lot! Till the next remix! I totally had a great time!

Combining 2 of my favorite elements this season: bold color and stripes!!! I love how well they went together, can't believe I didn't think of this outfit sooner!

 

 

Just one of the many days when I just laugh at my silliness.Laughing at yourself once in a while is surprisingly a great therapy! It makes you remember how imperfect we are and how impossibly lovable we are because of those imperfections. So go ahead, give it a try, I'm sure it will leave you smiling... :)

Really enjoying the print on this dress! It feels like painting, hence the reason why the first 2 photos were deliberately edited to look like paintings. Don't you just love the spalsh of color. It instantly puts you in a bright mood!

Feeling like a schoolgirl! I know I am too old for that, but there's nothing wrong in dreaming of younger days...haha! I just wish I could go back to when I was in college, there was freedom and less stress and more partying! Haha!

Now gotta get back to reality, deadlines, and stress...boo!

 Have any of you been watching Californication? After our obssession with The X-Files ended with its series finale (catching up on DVD), A and I thought about continuing on with another one of David Duchovny's show...I was expecting the explicit content but was actually shocked that it was actually played very well. It was hilarious and felt real to me. Can't wait to finish the first season and move on to 3 more...Would love to hear what you think about the show...
